Sin Undone (Audible Audio Edition) Larissa Ione, Ava Camille Edwards, Hachette Audio Books Reviews

GREAT FINAL BOOK!!!

I have read all of the Demonica series and have loved them all, I would definitely recommend reading them in order. you will get so much more out of the books by following the growth of the characters.

This book wrapped up the Seminus brothers and sister story. Sin's story was so well written and you get the added value of all the old characters from the other books being constant players and even the narrator! Her and Con started their spicy relationship by a closet hook up, which Con initiated because he bet Luc he could. I love to build characters in a series, Immortals After Dark is another that is wonderful at this, it makes the books deeper, really gets you inside the characters.

Sin and Con have many adversaries to overcome. They are being chased by assassins, jailers, men on horse back, even fire monsters, but together they stay tough and grow to depend on each other. Of course Sin fights every step of the way but that's why we love her. Her relationships with her brothers is really expanded on and you see the softer side of Sin.

The back story of Luc and Kar really gave the book more 'meat'. It kept a constant stream of action and it kept it interesting with different characters. I enjoyed the Warg battle scene, it was chaos but I couldn't put the book down. I couldn't decide whose side I was on sometimes, The Aegis, born Wargs, turned Wargs, always on the Seminus side!

My favorite part of the book is the very end. She took us home with the family and showed us how everyone is happy and together. It wrapped up the whole series beautifully and made me smile the entire time. It was so nice to see the calm before the next storm. Give some final interaction between the whole family, let us know they are all happy. It just put me in a good mood, which is what a book SHOULD do! {I'm talking to you Ms. Harris and the Sookie Stackhouse books}

This is a great read!
I love Ione's Demonica series. I don't think that this is the strongest of the lot though.

Firstly, I got really excited for Sin's story. I thought it would be like a male version of Wraith. It's not. Unlike Wraith, she seems plagued with characteristics of other female characters throughout PNR. She doesn't seem to enjoy sex, even though she's an incubus. I'm like, why can't she enjoy sex and be as sexual as the brothers?

The brothers were like protective of her having sex, when she's a succubus! Sex is what she does!

Then Ione tries to make it like Sin needs all this protecting, when she's like an assassin. I'm just like, why can't the couple be equal in their relationship? And why is it that with Ione's books about female characters, she has to give the woman a less powerful/interesting mate then the original bunch of guys. And then she's tries to make it like these powerful females suddenly are weak and need protecting? It grows old quickly. I think it would be more fun with two equal types.

You also get a lot of almost unbearable family fluff from earlier books. As usual, we only see most of the women in family meet ups with babies. That may be a good thing, since Ione's male characters are usually more interesting.

Overall, like the rest of the series, it's well written and addictive (although this one's less addictive then some). I recommend if you like this series.
Sinead "Sin" Donnelly is an assassin master in charge of assassin den but she's not very good master. Her den doesn't like working for her and she really doesn't want to be in charge. She's been seeking ways to keep her assassins happy but nothing is working. Her second in command keeps asking Sin to become his mate but she really can't stomach the idea. Meanwhile Conall "Con" Dearghul, a dhampire, working at Underworld General "UG" as paramedic along side Luc. The virus that Sin created is killing turned wargs at startling rate with no cure in sight either. E, Wraith, Shade, and Lore all want Sin to create vaccine to prevent more wargs from getting the disease. Con is fighting his attraction to Sin but even that is becoming a lost cause too. Sin's assassin den along with rest of the dens are hunting her. Will a cure be made? Will Sin learn to feel? Will Con stop denying his attraction to Sin? Will there be war between warg factions? Your answers await you in Sin Undone.
Review by Cassandra from Book Talk

My Thoughts
This is one of my favorite books of the series. We finally get a better look into Sin's past and all that she holds bottled inside. We see her thoughts and the way she fears the new family that has been thrust on her. In this book, the epidemic on the wargs that Sin caused in the last book is getting even worse. She is doing all she can to help with finding a cure but it seems hopeless and the wargs are ready to take revenge on Sin. On top of all that, she now has her own assassins after her so they can take control of the den and run things the way they believe it should. In comes Con. He is angry at Sin for many things, mainly the way he craves not only her body but her blood. Con has made it his mission to keep Sin from harm while helping her find a way to cure the virus. Con's past has finally decided to make itself known and he has a time frame to finish up his duties and leave his life behind to return to his people. You can't help but love these characters and the whole family. Sin pulls you in with her hardcore exterior and her inner vulnerability and pain. Con has his own scars from his past that keeps him from giving his all to Sin. The one thing they both allow themselves to give into is the explosive passion they feel for one another. The different sets of plots and agendas going on around this couple in the demon and human world keeps you turning the pages long after you vowed to put the book down and get other things done (such as sleep). It compels you to keep reading and find out how all these people can possibly survive and have a happy life despite all the people determined to bring them down. This series to not to be missed and you should definitely pick it up if a wonderful, hot, action packed, paranormal series is what you're after. Warning explicit content and violence.
