Review of CLOWN MOON by Alex JamesonThis engrossing horror/thriller is set in the “clown craze” of 2016, connecting it to a former clown era in 1981, 35 years earlier. But the craze of 2016 is terrifying, offering violence on both sides, injuries, even fatalities. Clowns and “clown hunters” both are aggressive and dangerous. It's a call for criminals, lowlifes, pedophiles, rapists, and killers to come out to play, and soon it seems as if no one and nowhere can remain safe.
Sam Asher, a former Marine sniper, and his brother Jake, a police officer in Kingston, North Carolina, are drawn into the fray when their nephew Aiden, a high school student, is brutally murdered in the woods one night while wearing a clown costume reworked to appear scary, even terrifying. Sam determines to find the killer, even as more murders of “clowns” occur in divergent locales.
CLOWN MOON is a heart-in-mouth page-turner, rendered more horrifying because the events related here actually could happen, anywhere. Even if the explanation is mob hysteria, history shows how easily and often that occurs. I recommend CLOWN MOON!

I loved this book. For a debut, this is one of the most well written - character driven books there is. Clowns attacking people - people attacking clowns - this has it all.
I was completely engrossed from the first page and had to remind myself to breath!
I am so excited for the next installment! Highly recommended!!
Ghoulish thriller about a serial killer murdering people dressed as clowns had me hooked! Plot was original, protagonist in ex-Marine Sam Archer was eminently likable and book remained just as dark and twisted as I had hoped for causing me to keep reading long into the night. Superb debut novel and hoping this author has much more scary stuff coming!
Absolutely fantastic. A total page turner, that you hate to put down. The concept was well thought out and although the clown thing was real not so long ago, not to this degree however, this was a very well put together story. Characters were very well developed and the writing impressive. This author has some talent and would love to see more novels from him in the future. Great work and definitely a keeper!
This edge of your seat page turner from Alex Jameson is well worth reading. Killer clowns, clown killers, excellent character development and an action packed believable revenge plot made this one of my favorite reads of 2017. I'm hoping to read further adventures of brothers Sam and Jake and Agent Alison Cole. Very highly recommended!
Finally a book without a bunch of who loves who. Personally, clowns don't bother me one way or another. Story line was good I can remember when there was a little trouble with some people dressed as clowns. Writing was good I saw only two misspelled words no big deal. Different I liked it.
Wow... this was a fantastic story by Alex Jameson.. A great thriller story that not only will keep you on the edge of your seat, but you will not be able to put this book down.... Summer Prescott has another great Author to her list... Must read for those who love a go thriller book 📚
The first thriller offered by Summer Prescott Publishing will be hard to top. Not only is it the first in the thriller line but the first book by an AMAZING new author. Top thriller writers need to be very worried....Alex Jameson is coming for you....
Sort of a "ripped from the headlines" plot with creepy, horror story vibes to it. If you are afraid of clowns or were scared of the clown epidemic of 2016 then read with a friend or during the day because he is a powerful writer. I am looking forward to what comes next.
